TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION
Conditions of Registration:

The attendees acknowledge that by registering for the conference they agree to comply with the all COVID 19 Pandemic Rules set in place by the Organizers of HDXMS 2022, the United Kingdom and The Francis Crick Institute. These rules will be posted and update on the Conference home page.

Registration fees may be paid by:

Using a credit card through the online payment option. This will take you to a secure site operated by PayPal. If you are unable to pay using the various PayPal options provided, you may pay the registration fee by sending a wire transfer to ETP Symposium Inc. Please note that an additional administration fee will be charged by using wire transfer method. If you require payment by wire transfer, please email
Janette Champ requesting this service. An invoice with wire transfer instructions will be emailed to you.

Cancellations:

Registration Fees are non-refundable, but are transferrable with no additional costs associated with the transfer. Please note that the Transferee must abide by the Conference rules. If you intend to transfer your registration to another individual, you must notify ETP Symposium Inc. of such transfer.

If the conference changes from an "in person" event to a "virtual" event due to closures effected by the Government of the United Kingdom, the City of London, or the CRICK Institute, the Organizers will immediately notify each registrant that the conference has become a "virtual" event. Details of how the virtual conference will operate will be sent at the day and time of such notification.

Information:

The attendees, by registering to attend, consent to the distribution of their name and address to sponsors for information distribution purposes.

Limitation of Liability:

The Organizers and the Society are not responsible for any accident, injury (including death), direct damages, indirect damages (including economic loss), costs or losses, suffered while attending, traveling to/from, or traveling between the events, even due to negligence (including gross negligence) of the Workshop its employees, servants, agents and contractors.

The Organizers and the Society accept no responsibility for any loss incurred while using materials or information obtained at the Workshop events.

The Organizers and the Society are not a bailee for any goods, materials, products, or any other article(s) left at the events.

Any issue regarding copyright, material, and compliance with any intellectual property law is the responsibility of the speaker(s) and the Workshop is not responsible for any infringements as a result of theft, plagiarism, libel, slander or any misuse of any material.

The Organizers and the Society reserve the right to amend or cancel any event or event times and dates. This includes changes to speakers, content and programme. In the likely occurrence of an event cancellation, the Workshop will return payments received in advance. The Organizers and the Society will not, however, refund any costs incurred as a result of this cancellation. The Organizers and the Society are not liable for any direct and indirect damages (including economic loss), losses, or costs due to any change or cancellation of the events.

Code of Conduct:

The Organizers are committed to making this conference productive and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality or religion. We will not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Please follow these guidelines:
  • Behave professionally. Harassment and sexist, racist, or exclusionary comments or jokes are not appropriate. Harassment includes sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, sexual attention or innuendo, deliberate intimidation, stalking, and photography or recording of an individual without consent. It also includes offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion.
  • All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate.
  • Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other attendees.
Participants asked to stop any inappropriate behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Attendees violating these rules may be asked to leave the event at the sole discretion of the organizers without a refund of any charge.

Any participant who wishes to report a violation of this policy is asked to speak, in confidence, to Janette Champ.
